I believe that the animation studio did an amazing job with this anime serie. You may think that it's easy for an anime when you can use colors and music, but I disagree. Why do we have some awful adaptations if it's so easy? Dr. Stone is the proof of that. I found that the anime made a thoughtful management of the original material, which requires to know exactly when it was better to leave a scene untouched, when to improve a scene, or when to add a completely new shot (Part 1, Part 2).
I have wanted to do this comparison for a long time, especially since I learned about the manga of Dr. Stone in Reddit. Watching the anime was an astonishing experience, thus, I really feel I need more from Dr. Stone while I wait for the second season. Dr. Stone is unique and it has one of the most active and enthusiastic fan base I've ever seen (Part 1, Part 2).
I support what most people yields: the anime adaptation is doing a poor work. My own view is that the adaptation is lacking an understanding of the conflicts. It makes me sad because I believe that Goblin Slayer is just more than just gore and rapes (since I am advancing the manga with the anime, I can be wrong, but I am liking it).
